Smells like teen Valencia

So high up...
Hola! amigos!
Yes, as you can tell a couple of us went to watch the Valencia vs Eibar game last weekend! The game was end to end which produced 3 red cards, 5 goals, 3 offside goals and a spectator on the pitch. However, if you believe that then you are extremely gullible because the reality is that the game was quite possibly one of the worst footy games I've seen. The pass rate was abysmal, some of the players milked challenges and the referee....my god don't get me started with the referee! Let's just say he had some sort of bond and an emotional attachment with his whistle.
Besides the game, the atmosphere and the view was amazing. I was particularly happy for Patrick, Mike, Asta, Natalia, and Cate as this was their first taste of watching football from inside a stadium! Sure, the game was a bit tedious however, the experience was special!

Hollie, myself and hollies pal Erin.

So, following the game on Sunday, a few of us went on a pleasant bike ride through the city with the intention of riding to the beach!
For me, this was one of my favorites moments of Spain thus far. The feeling of riding through a city you barely know is something else.
Anyway, the first pit stop was at the never-ending Flamengo festival and whilst we were there, there was no choice but to devour some mouthwatering churros ;). It was fine though, we were about to burn off all 9000 calories (seriously tasty and seriously unhealthy). There were a few setbacks along the way but we all defied the odds and made it safely to the beach! From there it was business as usual, so strolling on the warm sand, pondering and gazing at and towards the sea and of course, resting!
As our time was running out we had to inevitably return our rented bikes as we had paid for a few hours. But first, food and drinks!! I bought an 'Agua de Valencia' thinking that it was some sort of lemon and tropical juice mix...only to be told that it was a concoction of various alcoholic beverages =_____0. Together with that and the Sangria that Natalia had in her hand, the bike ride back would be destined to be doomed. Luckily enough we found a wandering Hollie and gave our drinks to her, tis what friends are for.

Anyway, the ride back wasn't as pleasant as getting there but it proved to be fun!

Word of advice, don't drink and ride bicycles...
