Moncada is a great place to stay as it is quite quiet, but
with great links to the city - there are three metro stations! It is an
agricultural area so very green; the streets smell delightfully of orange
blossom and there are some beautiful old buildings. It would be even better if
the metro ran later – last weekend, when we reached the station at 11.10pm, we discovered
that the last train left the centre of Valencia at 10.32pm; we were relieved to
discover that the taxis are very good value.
However, I adore Valencia! Here are some photographs taken
during our explorations of the old town this weekend.
